The overall aim is to provide seafarers with the necessary knowledge, understanding and proficiency to carry out designated fire duties in accordance with international regulations.
This course is part of the mandatory basic safety training for all seafarers with designated safety duties.
Practical elements of this STCW compliant course will focus on using firefighting equipment, breathing apparatus any will demonstrate how to extinguish various types and sizes of fires.
